This song is about Typhoid Mary, an asymptomatic Typhoid carrier who worked as a cook. Multiple times in her life, she would get a cooking gig, infect dozens of people with Typhoid, killing of some of them and quit the job, at threat of imprisonment by the government. Later, she would just get another cook gig and do it again. SHE LOVED TO COOK!
